The BOOK FAIR is here! For this week only, the CHHS LIBRARY has become the Cavalier Bookstore! There are books for gamers, sci-fi fans, graphic novel and comic book lovers, action/adventure stories, mysteries, and so much more! If you're shopping for gifts, we have cookbooks for Mom and fun stories for your young siblings! We have something for everyone! We accept cash, check, or credit cards so come by this week and shop til you drop! (announce 4/23, 4/24)


ROCK CLIMBING CLUB will meet TODAY from 4:30 pm - 6:30 pm at PEAK EXPERIENCES in Midlothian. ALL are welcome to attend. (announce 4/22, 4/23)


Interested in TRAVELING TO LONDON AND PARIS NEXT SUMMER? Mr. Bruce and Ms. Lewis are planning a trip for June of 2020 that will explore these beautiful cities and so much more! ALL BETA Members (JUNIORS and SENIORS): Please note the following dates for your calendars! 1) We will have Campus Cleanup this Wednesday, April 24th, from 3:10 pm - 3:45 pm. Meet in the COMMONS and then we will go clean outside!  2) There will be a meeting for ALL members during Cavalier Morning on Wednesday, May 1st, to discuss end of year requirements, activities, etc. Please make plans to attend both! Looking to earn service hours?! How about being a part of something groundbreaking?! Listen up, CAVS! Clover Hill is hosting our first SPECIAL OLYMPICS CHAMPIONS TOGETHER track meet on Saturday, April 27th. Not only will this be an awesome way to earn service hours, but a rewarding experience, as well! Look for our flyers throughout the school, scan the QR code with your phone to register, OR simply come see Mrs. Wild or Ms. Goldschmidt in ROOM 229. Mark your calendars for this Sunday, April 28th, at the VIRGINIA MUSEUM OF FINE ARTS for their annual “Teen Stylin’” fashion event. This year our own Chris Eliades, Kira Pierce and Sierra Joyce will compete. There will be an informational meeting for those interested in Football CHEERLEADING for the upcoming Cavalier season on Tuesday, April 30th, at 6:00 pm in the COMMONS. Please plan to attend if you plan on trying out to cheer. (announce 4/15 - 4/30)

Hey cavs! Relay for Life is hosting a SUPER SMASH BROS. GAMING TOURNAMENT to raise money for the American Cancer Society. The tournament will take place in Mr. D'Urbino's room, ROOM 402, after school Tuesday, April 30th, through Wednesday, May 1st, from 3:00 pm - 4:00 pm each day. Sign ups will be outside of Mr. D'Urbino's room and we ask that each participant donate $8 as an entry fee. The winner of the tournament will earn ultimate bragging rights and a mystery prize. Sign up ASAP, spots are limited! (announce 4/16 - 4/30)


SPORTS PHYSICALS for the 2019-2020 school year will be given in the GYM on May 2nd, at 3:00 pm for a cost of $25. (announce 4/23 - 5/2)


It’s a hard knock life, for us! Come see Theatre on the Hill’s spring musical ANNIE, the story of a small orphan girl with larger than life dreams. Filled with memorial songs, dance, and characters, this is a show that you will not want to miss. Annie runs May 2nd through May 4th in the AUDITORIUM, with a special “family sing-along” performance on Saturday afternoon, May 4th. (announce 4/23 - 5/3)


CHEER TRYOUTS will be held on May 6th, 7th, and 8th, in the GYM from 5:00 pm - 8:00 pm. NO experience necessary. You will NEED a physical dated after May 1st, forms are located in the MAIN OFFICE. (announce 4/15 - 5/6)

RELAY FOR LIFE is hosting the PURPLE TOILET FUNDRAISER throughout this week. Donations will be collected during ALL LUNCHES TODAY through Friday, April 26th. You can donate money in a teachers name and at the end of the day the teacher with the most money donated in their name will have a purple toilet placed in their room and their room teepeed. Don't forget all proceeds will go to the American Cancer Society. Bring in change to show your support! (announce 4/22- 4/26)
