Students learn the basics of the hospitality and tourism industry and become proficient in basic culinary skills.  Those choosing culinary arts first learn how to handle and serve food.  As they progress through the program, their food preparation skills increase.  Using produce from our school farm, students learn to select and prepare healthy, nutritious and delicious meals.  Eventually, they compete against teams from all over the Commonwealth in SkillsUSA challenges.

Our culinary students were visited by world reknowned chef, author, and TV star, Edward Lee!  He learned about our culinary program and shared his stories and passion for cooking alongside our students.
