Families and Schools Together (F.A.S.T)

Families and Schools Together (F.A.S.T.) is a program for students in kindergarten through second grade and their families.  FAST provides each participating family an opportunity to enhance communication within the family and involvement within the school.  Those who join the program have family meals, play communication games, share special time with their child, get to know other families, and participate in a lottery/door prize.  After the eight session program is completed, graduating families attend a special graduation ceremony.  FAST is a model program implemented through a partnership between Chesterfield County Public Schools and Chesterfield County Mental Health Support Services.
