Are Chromebooks connected to the meals tax?
No. Chromebooks and the meals tax that was defeated in November 2013 are separate initiatives. Chromebooks will be purchased using existing technology funds that have already been approved. The meals tax was proposed as a way to pay for improvements to school buildings.
