"Protecting Your Child Online" is the topic of the next Carroll County Parent Connect meeting, sponsored by Carroll County Public School Division (CCPSD) and St. Paul Elementary School PTO.

“We are very pleased to be able to offer this opportunity to our parents and staff. It will give our parents education on the best techniques to protect their children online, ” said CCPSD Licensed Professional Counselor, Denice Olinger.

In a Webwise survey conducted to mark Safer Internet Day, parents named the things concerning them the most in relation to their child being online. “Topics for this session will include dangers on the internet, cyber bullying, online predators, sharing too much information, and disturbing content.” said Olinger.
