What is Title I?
Title I is the largest federal aid program for our nation’s schools. The Goal of Title I is to provide extra help and instruction for the students who need it most. These are children who are not performing at or near the level of others their age.
Gladeville Elementary School is a school-wide Title I School and all students can receive Title I services that supplement and reinforce the regular classroom curriculum in reading and/or math. Our Title I staff may work with teachers in the following ways: assisting with whole group instruction; working with small group instruction in the classroom; helping individuals as needed during class; and in some instances, pulling a student or students for additional help. Title I strives to assist all students to become successful. If you have any questions regarding the Title I program, please feel free to contact us.
