The Cullman County Special Education Program is seeking to locate children with disabilities ages 0-21 within Cullman County School District. Parents of children with disabilities ages 0-3 should contact Kristie Smith at 256- 734-3253, and parents with children with disabilities ages 3-21 should contact Tiffanye Mitchell, 256-739-0486. The system is also seeking to locate intellectually gifted and talented children, with the emphasis on second-grade students. ADK Teacher's Sorority will have a Swamp John's fund raiser on October 17, 2016 from 4-7 p.m. at the Dodge City Town Hall. Proceeds will go toward scholarships for education majors. Tickets are $11, eat in or drive thru available.
In accordance with 20 U.S.C 1412 (a) (8), 1417 (c) Sec. 300.573, the Cullman County Special Education Program is considering disposing of Special Education records of persons whose date of birth is prior to September 1, 1990. These records are no longer needed to provide educational services to said persons. If for any reason said persons or their guardians desire a copy, they should contact Tiffanye Mitchell, Special Education Coordinator, 17600 US Highway 31, Cullman, AL 35058, by October 1, 2016
