Member Organisations
Member Organisation
A Member Organisation is any organisation that
has been recognised by the association as representing a religious faith for the provision of Chaplaincy or pastoral care services,
has been accepted as a member of the association, and
maintains a Membership Quota of adherents (this is one-tenth of a per cent (0.1%) of the population as stated in the most recent Australian Bureau of Statistics census.
Member Authority
Each Member Organisation must appoint a person known as the "Member Authority" who is the nominated personal representative of the Member Organisation and who can speak on its behalf.
Member Representative
Member Authorities may also nominate and appoint Member Representative to attend and participate in meetings on behalf of the Member Organisation and vote on behalf for the Member Organisation.
