Hi there! My name is Mrs. Hartje. I am the Prek-5 principal and counselor. I can not wait to have 

every one of you in my class. Together, we will learn strategies to promote excellent social

and emotional health and learn ways to enhance academic and career skills, too. 

Here is a little bit about me.  I am originally from Cavalier, graduating

from high school in 1996. My family and I moved to Montana in 2002 and lived there until 

2012.  My husband is one of the owners of State Side Electric. We have three daughters.

Madison is a 3rd grade teacher in Cavalier, Taryn is a cosmetologist, and Faith is in her 2nd year of college. This is my 12th year at the Cavalier Public School, and I love every minute of 

it. I am excited about our school year beginning and can't wait to have an excellent year!
