Hola! I was born in Buenos Aires, Argentina. There I got my first university degree as an English-Spanish literary translator.  At UND I received my Bachelor of Arts,my teaching certificate,ESL endorsement, and Masters of Science in General studies with a cognate in Bilingual Ed. I taught at West Fargo High School for 4 years and have been teaching at CHS since August 1990. Most of my day is spent teaching on ITV to six school districts in northern ND. I am  certified as a national ELL trainer of teachers ,and I also conduct state workshops on classroom management for teachers in ND.
One of my greatest accomplishments (and adventures) was being elected  by the NEA Board of Directors in Washington DC as a US delegate to the World Congress of Education in South Africa (July 2011).
In 2013, I became certified as a national trainer on cultural competence and have been delivering workshops to educators all over the US for the past couple of years.
Since I am so enthusiastic about showing my students a little bit of the world, I enjoy leading international student tours to Europe. Hablemos castellano!
