Welcome to F.J. Brennan

Catholic High School!

Principal's Message

Welcome to F. J. Brennan Catholic Secondary School. Certainly a year like no other. We are a community school founded on the Caritas motto: selfless love for others. F. J. Brennan Catholic School is a well rounded school with strong traditions and an environment that reflects pride in being a Cardinal since 1953!

Students at Brennan have the opportunity to learn in a vibrant school community with an enthusiastic and dedicated staff. We are lifelong learners with Catholic education as our common purpose. Our school is committed to developing the full potential of each child and in providing an enduring education that reflects the essence of our Catholic faith.

We take pride in offering our students the finest quality of education as demonstrated through our outstanding student achievement results, as well as our variety of unique and innovative programming opportunities.

For the past five years, F. J. Brennan Catholic School students have achieved above the provincial and board levels in both the areas of mathematics (EQAO) and the Ontario Secondary School Literacy Test (OSSLT).

Included in our academic programming are five Specialist High Skill Majors (SHSM): Sports Marketing, Hospitality and Tourism, and The Caritas School of Performing Arts and Communications Technology, Masonry as well as a Not for Profit SHSM.

F. J. Brennan Catholic School, as well as Corpus Christi Middle School, are proud to offer the Hockey Canada Skills Academy (HCSA). Participants are provided a state of the art educational opportunity to further their individual hockey skill development and enrich their overall academic performance in all subject areas. As of September 2015, we also offer Soccer and Baseball Academies as well!

As well as offering a progressive academic program, our school offers a full array of co-curricular activities in the arts, athletics, clubs, leadership and school life which fosters a spirit of cooperation, collaboration and healthy competition. We encourage all students to get involved. It is our hope that upon graduating from Brennan, students will have made their mark and will leave our community a better place.

At F. J. Brennan, we value your trust and the privilege of teaching your children. It is an honour and privilege to be able to serve the community of F. J. Brennan Catholic School and we look forward to a rewarding year given exceptional circumstances.
