Never Fail Pie Crust

 yield 2 crusts 

INGREDIENTS
4 cups all-purpose flour
2 cups chilled lard
1 tablespoon white sugar
1 teaspoon salt
1/2 cup ice water
1 egg
1 tablespoon distilled white vinegar
 
DIRECTIONS
In a large bowl, mix flour, lard, sugar and salt.
Add ice water, vinegar and egg. Beat to combine.
