Mozilla has released an updated version of their popular trio of applications: Firefox, Thunderbird and Seamonkey. This release will address over 20 security vulnerabilities across these applications - three of which are rated as high. Case Western Reserve University users that employ these Mozilla applications should apply these updates as soon as possible. Firefox updates, for example, can be run from the Help menu by selecting the "Check for updates..." option.
Case Western Reserve Tier I Controls Standards require users to maintain their system’s patch levels for improved security. Since the Mozilla suite is heavily used by our organization, Information Technology Services (ITS) strongly recommends immediate implementation of this new release.
