Advisory Committee on Research Computing

The Advisory Committee on Research Computing (ACRC) advises ITS on strategic issues related to the support of the CWRU research community's IT-related needs. ACRC also serves as the ITSPAC Subcommittee on Advanced Research Computing.  The current chair of ACRC is Professor Michael Lewicki of the Department of Electrical Engineering and Computer Science.  ACRC makes policy and priority recommendations related to service offerings of ITS in the area of advanced research computing, including (but not limited to) high performance computing, scientific data visualization, research database services, and research data storage.
