About the Teacher



Master Sergeant Cox is an Aerospace Science Instructor, I teach Leadership Education and Drill and Ceremonies.  I served in the United States Air Force for 20 years.  Soon after graduating from St Augustine’s University with a degree in Business Administration he joined the Air Force and received his basic training at Lackland Air Force Base, TX and his technical training in Administration/Information Management at Keesler Air Force Base, MS.  I held numerous positions while serving in the Air Force to include a tour with the United States Air Force “Thunderbirds” and the Secretary of the Air Forces’ staff.  My last and most fulfilling active duty assignment was as the First Sergeant for 27th Mission Support Squadron, Cannon AFB, NM.  I am beginning my  tenth year at Carrollton High School.  I earned masters degree in public administration and will soon complete my doctoral degree in organizational leadership and management.  I am married to Estella, she is an IT Manager at the University of West Georgia and I have four children.  Two of my kids are in the Carrollton School System, one at the high school and the other at the elementary school.
