About the Speech Language Pathologist

             Hunter  Frank

My name is Heather Byrge and I am one of the Speech-Language Pathologists at Carrollton Elementary School.  I was born and raised in Carrollton. I graduated from Carrollton High School in 1993.  I earned my Bachelors degree in Communication Sciences & Disorders from The University of Georgia in 1998. I graduated with my Master's in Speech Pathology from The State University of West Georgia in 2001.  In 2010 I graduated with my Specialist in Special Education Administration from The State University of West Georgia.  I have 12 years of experience with Cobb County Schools and am looking forward to my 6th year here at CES!  My husband, Greg Byrge, is from Smyrna, Ga. and loves living in Carrollton.  We have two precious children Kelsey (6th grade) and Grady (3rd grade) who keep us very busy.  Hunter, our dog, is a huge part of our family and he can often be found relaxing outside or playing with the family.  Frank, our cat, keeps us all on our toes. Please email me at heather.byrge@carrolltoncityschools.net as this is the easiest way to communicate with me.  My extension is 4806.  I am looking forward to a great year!
