Michael Harvey

Welcome to Mr. Harvey's teacher website. Here you will find information about the courses I teach, resources for those courses, and contact information if you need to get in touch with me. 

I have been teaching for 22 years including 7 in Cobb County and 15 at Carrollton High School. I have a Bachelor of Arts degree in History and Political Science from Berry College, a Master of Education degree in Social Studies Education and an Education Specialist degree in Instructional Technology from the University of West Georgia. I have taught a range of courses over the years including Advanced Placement United States Government and Politics, Advanced Placement World History, Advanced Placement Comparative Politics, United States History, Economics, and Current Issues. I currently teach Advanced Placement United States Government and Politics. Psychology, and Advanced Placement Psychology. I am married to Brooke (McWhorter) Harvey and have two children, Kate (a 12th grader at CHS) and Matthew (a 9th grader at CHS). I also serve as the Instructional Coordinator for the Social Studies Department, Co-Sponsor of the National Honor Society, and as the Academic Team Coach.
