Mrs. Samantha Green
Mrs. Samantha Green joined Carrollton High School as an Assistant Principal in July of 2015. She is a 1998 graduate of the University of West Georgia where she earned a Bachelor's degree in Middle Grades Education. Mrs. Green played basketball for the University of West Georgia, and she was recognized as Gulf South Conference All Tournament First Team as a Sophomore.  

She earned a Master's degree from the University of West Georgia in 2003, and she earned her gifted endorsement from West Georgia RESA in 2005. Mrs. Green received a Specialist degree from the University of West Georgia in Middle Grades Education in 2007. She later returned to the University of West Georgia to obtain her certification in Educational Leadership in 2009.

Mrs. Green began her career in education in the Paulding County School System (1998-2001) as a middle grades math and reading teacher and basketball coach. She transferred to the Carroll County School System where she was a math and reading teacher from 2001-2010. During her 12 years as a teacher, Mrs. Green was recognized as the Teacher of Year at Villa Rica Middle School in 2005 and 2007 and she served on former State Superintendent Kathy Cox’s Teacher Advisory Council for the State of Georgia.  In 2011, Mrs. Green was also honored as the STAR Teacher for Villa Rica High School and as the STAR Teacher for the Carroll County School System.

Mrs. Green served as an Assistant Principal at Bay Springs Middle School for three years and at Bowdon Middle School for two years in Carroll County before being named an Assistant Principal for Carrollton High School. 

Mrs. Green is married to Timothy Green, and they  have one son, Timothy Green II a 10th grader at CHS, and one daughter, Dru McKenzie Green, a 5th grader at CMS.
