September 2015

posted Sep 29, 2015, 6:46 AM by Simon Lewis

We’ve had a great September in school with lots of fun and exciting activities and getting to know each other. One of the highlights of the month was our skip-hopping workshop with Lee who had everyone in the school skipping. There was a great show at the end of the day and we have lots of videos on our blog and YouTube channel. One of the great successes of Educate Together schools is parental involvement and it was lovely to see so many of our parents in the school throughout the month. It was especially nice to see our newer parents in the school at events like our welcome coffee morning and teddy bear picnic. We want to see as many parents as we can in the school and we have set up a web site for parents to volunteer their time in a variety of ways. Have a look at our volunteering web site https://sites.google.com/a/carloweducatetogether.ie/volunteer/. Please have a read of the web site and see if you can help us out. Until next month, enjoy this newsletter and keep happy, safe and learning!
