Patti Likwarz currently serves on the Board of Directors for C.A.R.E. for Dodge County. She has been employed with Edward Jones for over 10 years and founded Speak up For Jeremy. She has a daughter, granddaughter and a son whom is now an angel as he was lost to an overdose. She is an advocate to help families tell their stories, educate the public, support one another and end the stigma associated with mental health and Substance Use Disorder (SUD). She is currently working on a memorial garden for loved ones lost to mental illness or overdose and is working with Tellurian Inc. to open a sober living home in memory of her son, Jeremy, called Jeremy's Place. She also is a partner with Denny Hill of Chandra's House of Hope and mentor's women in recovery. Patti has an open-door policy for anyone who struggles with the loss of a loved one, anyone currently struggling with SUD or anyone affected by someone who struggles with mental health or SUD. She envisions a world in which anyone struggling with SUD or mental health issues has allies and the support they need.
In her free time, she enjoys spending time in nature and on her hobby farm with her family and friends.
