Capital Area BioSpace, Inc. is a non-profit corporation registered in the District of Columbia and exempt under section 501 c (3) of the IRS code. Our mission is to to promote awareness and engagement with the public about the value of molecular biology and synthetic biology. To do so we need your help. Your contributions go directly to support our activities which includes free and open public science events, outreach at scientific meetings and maker fairs, community science projects, and classes to teach lab skills. Contributions to CABS are charitable deductions for U.S. income tax purposes.
