Welcome to High School

Becoming a special education teacher has been my goal since elementary school.   I graduated from the College of St. Rose and then obtained my Masters at Touro College in Manhattan, after my sons were in school. Beginning at the early-intervention level (birth to 5 years), I have worked my way to the high school by way of fourth grade, then seventh and eighth grade.

I am one-half of the co-teaching teams in English 9R and English 11R.  I also provide additional services to students in a resource room setting. Being in the general education classrooms helps me to use current lessons and assignments as much as possible while addressing the individual needs of my students in the resource room.

Co-teaching is a service delivery option that provides two certified teachers and multiplies their combined skills and strengths while allowing for a reduced teacher-student ratio and providing more small group and one-on-one attention for our students.

Please feel free to contact me by phone or email.  I check my email several times each day.  If I am unavailable at the time of your phone call, I will get back to you as soon as I can.
