About Me....

Hi!  I am Sheli Aldridge.  I love teaching math!  Some of you probably know me from Pittsburg or sports events.  I taught math in Pittsburg for over 20 years, and I have coached youth boys’ soccer, girls’ basketball, and softball in the past.  I am happy to have the opportunity to work with more North Country students here in Canaan.

I graduated from UNH a long time ago with a Bachelor of Science degree in Secondary Mathematics Education.  I also finished up a Masters Degree in Educational Leadership through Southern New Hampshire University in July.  Later this fall, I will be taking a weekend graduate course in Statistics at Plymouth State University, in hopes that I will be able to teach Running Start Statistics in future years.

As you can tell from my pictures, I enjoy outdoor motorized sports.  I have always loved snowmobiling and I recently bought a used Harley Davidson Sportster.  I also like to waterski.  I even tried wakeboarding a couple of weeks ago.

Some of you may know my children, Hunter and Brooke Judd.  Hunter went to college at Southern New Hampshire University and graduated with a Bachelor’s Degree in Sports Management.  He is currently working near the seacoast in the insurance field.  Brooke graduated from Saint Anselm’s College in May.  She is now working as a full-time nurse at Exeter Hospital.  Both Hunter and Brooke come to the area often to participate in various sports events.  We adore our two dogs – Justice, a big handsome golden retriever, and Hershey, a loving springer spaniel.

My goals this school year include helping Canaan students learn as much math as possible, develop an appreciation for life-long learning, and contribute to an enthusiastic school environment.  Let’s make this year at Canaan School an awesome one!
