Welcome to my personal web page.

My name is Slavisa Tomic and I am an Associate Professor at the Department of Computer Enginnering, Universidade Lusófona, Centro Universitário Lisboa (UL-CUL), Lisbon, Portugal. Between 2020 and 2023, I was the coordinator of the Ph.D. programe in Informatics and since 2020 I am the coordinator of the B.Sc. program in Informatics, Networks and Telecommunications Engineering at ULHT, and a co-coordinator on a thematic line on Telecommunications & Networking. I am also a researcher at COPELABS (membro integrado).

I concluded my Ph.D. at Faculty of Science and Technology - Universidade Nova de Lisboa in 2017.

I am one of the winners of the 4th edition of Scientific Employment Stimulus (CEEC Individual 2021) funded by Fundação para a Ciência e a Tecnologia. According to the methodology proposed by Stanford University, I was among the most influential researchers in the world in 2019 and 2020 when I joined the list of top 2% of scientists whose work is most cited by other colleagues in the field of Information and Communication Technologies, sub-area Networks and Telecommunications.

Here, you can find some information about me, such as published work and projects in which I am involved.

My current research interests include target localization in wireless sensor networks and convex optimization.

My other interests are:
