Mrs. Caldwell

Mrs. Caldwell can hardly believe she has been teaching thirty-five years.   What's really amazing is thirty-four of them have been right here at Tomahawk Elementary School.  She grew up in Lynchburg however, she was born in Massachusetts.  Timberlake and Lynchburg are very special to her as she is a graduate of Brookville High and Lynchburg College/University of Lynchburg.  Her life is full when she is surrounded by her family, especially her granddaughter, but calligraphy and zentangling keeps her  entertained when they are not around.  Her  true companion is her Yorkie, Bailey.

Mrs. Jensen

Mrs. Jensen is originally from Kentucky. She moved to Virginia to attend Liberty University where she received her undergraduate degree.  Recently, she received her masters degree in Educational Leadership from University of Lynchburg.  She taught in Amherst County for her first 8 years and joined the TES team 20 years ago. She has been married to her husband, Jeff, for 32 years and has two grown boys which she is very proud of. She enjoys reading, riding bikes, and spending time with her family.  She teaches science to all of the 5th graders.

Mrs. Creasey

Mrs. Creasey loves to recall the childhood memories she has of growing up in Southwest Virginia.  Graduating from Lynchburg College, she came to Tomahawk Elementary as a kindergarten teacher.  Although her kindergarten students will always have a special place in her heart, she loves teaching 5th grade and works passionately to pass her enthusiasm for learning on to her students.  She looks forward to hosting family dinner night every other week.  Mrs. Creasey and her husband enjoy the enthusiasm their son, his wife, their daughter and her husband always contribute to make it an entertaining evening.  The arrival of their new grandson, Walt, has brought more joy than can ever be imagined.

Ms. Robbins

Miss Robbins is starting her first full year teaching 5th grade at Tomahawk. She completed student teaching at Tomahawk in the fall of 2018, and began teaching 5th grade in the spring of 2019. Miss Robbins is originally from North Carolina. She moved to Virginia to attend Liberty University, where she received her graduate degree in education.  She is very thankful for her family, and enjoys spending time with them regularly, especially her younger brother. When she isn’t with her family, Miss Robbins enjoys playing volleyball and traveling. She is an avid Duke fan and loves football. She is excited to continue teaching 5th grade!!

Mr. Goshey

Mr. Goshey has been teaching for ten years and he and his family have just recently moved to Lynchburg from Colonial Beach, Virginia. Mr. Goshey and his wife have been married now for ten years and have two beautiful daughters named Ali and Brooke.  Also, Mrs. Goshey is a Kindergarten teacher at Tomahawk Elementary as well.  When Mr. Goshey isn't teaching he enjoys listening to music, playing guitar, reading books, watching movies, and spending time with friends and family!  Mr. Goshey is very excited to be teaching fifth grade and to be a part of the Tomahawk Family.

Mr. Barrett

Mr. Barrett has  been teaching for 9 years.  He grew up in Southern California and went to college at Vanguard University in Orange County California.  He moved to Lynchburg VA 5 years ago and loves working with the Tomahawk Family.  When he's not teaching you will find him playing with his kids, playing Golf, and if he can get a 3 day weekend he's off to the beach to go surfing.
