Miss Hyman (Foster) was born and raised in Lynchburg, Virginia.  She actually went to Tomahawk Elementary, Brookville Middle and graduated from Brookville High School in 2009.  She graduated from Longwood University with a degree in Liberal Studies with a concentration in Elementary Education in 2013. Mrs. Foster taught fifth grade at Tomahawk before moving to fourth.  Mrs. Foster enjoys spending time with family and friends, going to the beach and the pool, relaxing, and shopping. She is incredibly excited for this year and can't wait to work with new students! 

Mrs. Austen was born and raised in Lynchburg, Virginia. She went to Heritage High School and  graduated from Longwood University with a Liberal Studies degree with concentrations in Elementary Education and Math 6-8. This will be her 8th year teaching. She has previously taught 3rd and 5th grades along with STEM classes. Outside of school she enjoys spending time with her husband, Kyle and her beautiful daughter, Brody. Some of her favorite things to do are relax, go to the gym, shop at Target, and spend time with family and friends. Mrs. Austen loves to make learning fun for her students and is excited about this year!

Mrs. Bowling was born and raised in Lynchburg, Va. She attended Brookville High School, and graduated from Longwood University with a Liberal Studies Bachelor's Degree with a concentration in PK-8. She has a Master's Degree from University of Lynchburg in Leadership (PK-12). This will be her 22nd year teaching. Outside of school, she enjoys spending time with her two children and her husband. In her spare time, she enjoys crafting, reading, and spending time on the ball fields with her son, Cody, and competition floors with her daughter, Melanie. 

Mrs. Montgomery was born in Texas, lived in Japan, and raised in Las Vegas, NV. She attended two years at UNLV and transferred to Liberty University where she received a Bachelor's Degree in Elementary Education and a Master's Degree in Gifted Education.  This is her first year teaching fourth grade, however, she previously taught Pre-K. She has two sons, Doc and Cruz. Outside of school, she enjoys running, reading, and spending time with friends.

September 29 - Interims go home
