Mrs. Dolan- Mrs. Dolan was born and raised here in Lynchburg, Virginia. In fact, she went to elementary school right here at Tomahawk Elementary School. She received her Bachelors of Science in Elementary Education from Longwood University in 2010 and just graduated with her Masters of Educational Leadership from Lynchburg College in 2018. Mrs. Dolan began her teaching journey in San Carlos, Costa Rica where she taught ESL to 2nd-8th graders. She then went to Snow Hill, North Carolina, where she finished up the year for a teacher in 4th grade. She is now in her 9th year teaching at Tomahawk Elementary School and could not be more excited! She taught 3rd grade for 5 years and is coming up on her 4th year as a 2nd grade teacher.  Mrs. Dolan loves to play co-ed sports, go running, and spend time with her husband and 1 year old boy, Paxton.  She is blessed to be starting another year at Tomahawk Elementary School.

Mrs. Pittman - Mrs. Pittman was born in Lynchburg, VA and attended Tomahawk when she was younger while her mom taught there.  She graduated from Brookville High School and received her Bachelors and Masters degrees from Virginia Tech.  Her Bachelor's degree is in Early Childhood Education and her Master's is in Curriculum and Instruction.  She has been teaching for 15 years, five in third grade and the rest in second grade.  She is married to Kevin and has two daughters, Kylie and Karleigh.  She also has two Labradoodles named Popper and Riggles.  She enjoys Crossfit, reading, bike riding, and spending time with family, especially at the beach!

Mrs. Hunsley- Mrs. Hunsley is originally from Chesapeake, VA. She graduated from James Madison University with a Bachelor's Degree in Interdisciplinary Liberal Studies and then with a Master's Degree in Elementary Education. After graduation, she moved to Lynchburg, VA. Mrs. Hunsley has experience working in Harrisonburg, Rockingham County, and Chesapeake City Schools. This is her second year teaching and second year at TES. Mrs. Hunsley enjoys spending time with family, reading, going to the beach, skiing, and working out. She cannot wait to begin the school year!

Mrs. Mayhew- was born and raised in Manassas, Virginia. Growing up she always admired her fourth grade teacher and loved to “play” school with the neighborhood kids. Which explains why, she attended and graduated from Lynchburg College with a degree in Elementary Education. Mrs. Mayhew has had the joy of teaching fourth graders at Tomahawk Elementary school since 2005 and now is excited to work with second graders. Outside of school she enjoys spending time with her husband, Andy and two beautiful daughters, Jillian and Hadley. Some of her favorite things to do are relax, read a good book, go to the beach/pool, shop, and spend time with family and friends. Mrs. Mayhew looks forward to each and every year of teaching, growing, and having fun with her students.

Mrs. Moser-- Mrs. Moser was born in Johnson City, TN and she graduated from Daniel Boone High School and received her Bachelors degree from East Tennessee State University in Early Childhood Education.  She has been teaching for 11 years, 1 in preschool and the rest in second grade.  She is married to Tracey and has two children, Hunter and Calley.  She enjoys reading, cooking, swimming, and spending time with family, especially at the beach or in the mountains!
