Mrs Harbridge:  
Mrs. Harbridge grew up in West Virginia.  She  graduated from Concord University in Athens, West Virginia.  She got her M.ED at Lynchburg College.  This is her 30th year teaching!  She loves spending time with her family.  She has  three sons. Mrs . Harbridge became a grandmother this summer.  She now has a grandson named Peyton Emerson.



Ms. Ledford: 
This year marks Ms. Ledford's 27th year of teaching. Nineteen of those years have been here at Tomahawk in first grade.  She grew up in Richmond, Virginia and graduated from Longwood College. She has a son, Hunter; who she enjoys spending time with along with her favorite little dog, Eli.  She loves to read and go on adventures!  She knows that first grade kids ROCK!

This is Mrs. Stokes' eleventh year teaching First Grade. She grew up in Amherst and Campbell counties. She attended Radford University and Lynchburg College. In her free time she loves to hike, kayak, garden and spend time with friends and family. 

Mrs. Warrender lives in the country with her family.  She graduated from Bowling Green State University in Ohio.  She loves reading, the ocean, waterfalls, and children.  She loves seeing our world through the eyes of her first graders.  She also loves watching their eyes light up as they learn new things each day.

Mrs. Wilder: 
Mrs. Wilder grew up in this area.  She graduated from Lynchburg College.  She is married and has three sons.  She loves going to the beach.  She enjoys shopping and spending time with her family and friends.  She chose a teaching profession because she loves to work with children.

January 22: We will finish up PALs testing this week.
January 22-26: Great Kindness Challenge Week
   - Monday: Students receive kindness checklists.
   -Tuesday: Wear Crazy Hair.
   - Wednesday: Wear your favorite sports team  attire.
   -Thursday: Wear a bow or tie.
   -Friday:  Wear TES Spirit Wear.
              Students turn in their kindness checklists. 
February 1: Parent Teacher Conferences 4 to 7pm.
