Mrs. Barrett: 
Mrs. Barrett was born and raised in Indianapolis, Indiana. She received a Bachelor of Science, in Psychology/Sociology at Liberty University. Mrs. Barrett taught for five years in Jacksonville, FL and five years at Heritage Elementary. Most of her experience has been in Special Education. Her husband of 10 years, Dustin, is a Special Educator and they have two beautiful children, Nathaniel age 3, and Layla age 2. Mrs. Barrett enjoys doing anything outdoors, swimming in her pool, and spending time with her family. She is excited to have an Awesome 1st year at Tomahawk!

Ms. Harbridge:  
Ms. Harbridge grew up in West Virginia.  She  graduated from Concord University in Athens, West Virginia.  She got her M.ED at Lynchburg College.  This is her 31st year teaching!  She loves spending time with her family.  She has  three sons. Her twin sons, Cliff and Kyle, live in Richmond, Virginia. Her oldest son , Brent, lives in Denver, Colorado.   She  has a grandson named Peyton Emerson who is one year old.  Ms. Harbridge enjoys gardening, spending time with her family, and hanging out with her miniature dachshund.

Mrs. Owen: 
Mrs. Owen was born and raised in Williamsburg, Virginia. She received a Bachelor of Arts, in Psychology/Sociology, as well as, Master of Arts in Teaching from Mary Baldwin College. Mrs. Owen taught first grade for four years in Richmond, VA, she moved to Bedford where she started teaching second grade (for three years) and Tomahawk. Mrs. Owen is excited to move back to first grade!  Her husband, Jay, was born and raised in Bedford, and together they have a beautiful daughter named Campbell. Mrs. Owen enjoys cooking, experiencing local festivals and culture, as well as any outdoor recreational activity. She is excited to 'bee' a part of the Tomahawk family!

This is Mrs. Stokes' twelfth year teaching First Grade. She grew up in Amherst and Campbell counties. She attended Radford University and Lynchburg College. In her free time she loves to hike, kayak, garden and spend time with friends and family. 

Mrs. Wilder: 
Mrs. Wilder grew up in this area.  She graduated from Lynchburg College.  She is married and has three sons.  She loves going to the beach.  She enjoys shopping and spending time with her family and friends.  She chose a teaching profession because she loves to work with children.
