  • Read, read, read!
Please make sure that your child is reading every night - they have books that come home every day and in order to continue growing, reading needs to be a daily task. No matter what, they have homework for me every night - and it's always to read!

  • Class Expectations
Every child has the right to learn.

    Daily Preparation
  • I expect students to be ready to learn each day.
  • Being prepared for the day means that the student has the right materials and the right attitude.
  • The right materials include their reading folder, a pencil, and their book.
  • The right attitude is a desire to learn and to cooperate with others.

  • Assignments
Assignments are usually designed to be done in class so that I can help the students. If they are unable to complete the work in class, they can take the work home.

    In the Classroom
Students are expected to pay attention to the lesson being taught.

If the class is working on an assignment, each student is expected to be working on the assignment.

Most importantly - every child needs to be ready to learn when they enter the classroom.
