Mrs. Bright is a graduate of Longwood University, with a bachelor's degree in Elementary Education. She grew up in Lynchburg and had worked at Lynchburg City Schools for seven and a half years prior to transferring to Leesville Road. She loves working with students to build a passion for learning through hands-on, engaging activities, and enjoys forming new relationships with students and their families. Mrs. Bright enjoys spending time with her husband (Tom) and two children (Tommy and Rylan), being with her huge family, going to the beach, and kayaking. She also loves her Boston Terrier puppy, Bauer, very much.

Mrs. Goetz is a graduate of Mansfield University of Pennsylvania with a Bachelor's of Science in Elementary and Special Education. This is Mrs. Goetz’s 8th year of teaching. She has previously taught 4th grade and special education in Starkville, Mississippi and for Lynchburg City Schools. She loves teaching students through engaging, hands on lessons and shares her passion for reading with her students. Mrs. Goetz loves spending time with her husband, Dan, and their two sweet little girls, Paisley and Kenzie. On the weekends you can find her reading, traveling back to Pennsylvania to visit family, or in her garden.

Mrs. Patterson is a graduate of Longwood University, with a bachelor's degree in Elementary Education. She grew up in Forest, VA and graduated from Jefferson Forest High School. She truly believes that every child can learn and centers her classroom around meaningful and engaging instruction that meets the diverse needs of her students. She enjoys building relationships with each of her students and loves watching them grow into successful learners and citizens. Outside of teaching, she spends her time with her husband, Brandon and their two sons, Hunter and Weston.

Mrs. Reynolds  is a graduate of Liberty University, with a Bachelor’s degree in Family and Consumer Sciences with a Specialization in Childhood Education.  She also received her Masters of Arts in Elementary Education from Liberty University in 2013.  Previously, she has taught at Concord Elementary School for five years, as both a Kindergarten and Fourth Grade teacher.  Teaching children is both a passion and love for her.  Mrs. Reynolds grew up in Roanoke, Virginia, and enjoys the beautiful scenery along the Blue Ridge Mountains.  She and her husband, Erick, moved to Lynchburg in 2006 to further pursue her education.  They have three children, Kaitlyn, Abigail, and Benjamin.  In her spare time, Mrs. Reynolds likes to spend time with family and friends, as well as gardening and other outdoor activities.

Mrs. Taylor received her bachelor's degree from Virginia Tech and her master's degree from Radford University. She is a National Board certified teacher. She was the 2010 Montgomery County Teacher of the Year and the 2011 Virginia Region VI Teacher of the Year. She won the 2011 McGlothlin Award for Teaching Excellence and traveled to the Galapagos Islands as part of that award. Mrs. Taylor enjoys creating learning experiences that excite students and make them eager to learn. You will often find students working in groups, designing experiments, reading with friends, or singing songs. Mrs. Taylor loves adventure. She and her husband got married while skydiving. She has two sons, Cole and Jack. This is Mrs. Taylor's 14th year of teaching.

Mrs. Womack is a graduate of James Madison University with a master’s degree in elementary education. She previously taught 5th grade for three years and this will be her first year teaching 3rd grade. She loves creating engaging and meaningful lessons that get her students excited about learning. Outside of school, Mrs. Womack enjoys spending time with her husband (Brad) and their black lab puppy (Ozzy), reading, traveling, and cheering on her favorite sports teams.
