  • Spring Update
    Students,
    Please mark in your agenda the dates for your SOL testing regarding reading, math, science, and civics. READING IS MAY 7th. Also , the tentative date for independent reading is May 16,2016. The library must have time to complete their inventory. All classes will begin presenting their state projects on May 9, 2016. Double check your date for your state presentation.

    The new Target Date is May 20, 2016.

    One of the nonfiction requirements will be to read and complete a class project on one of the fifty states from our classroom book set. .....more info soon!

     Parents, 
    Please feel free to contact me regarding the status of your child's progress regarding the independent nonfiction requirement and their overall status for outside reading. The TARGET DEADLINE is March 10, 2016.

    Are you completing the nonfiction reading requirements for this 9 weeks? 
    English 1-You are responsible for 5.
    English 2-3-You are responsible for 4. 

    Remember you must score at least a 70% for it to count!!!!

  • January-Happy New Year!!!! Part I
    Students,
     
    Your new Target Date is March 10, 2016!!!!!  Please remember this must include your required nonfiction independent reading. Talk to your teacher if you have any questions or concerns. We shall also be completing Acts I-II from A Christmas Carol. Utilize all formative  materials in preparation for the Summative Assessments. Your skills for the upcoming weeks will focus on Predicting Outcomes and Making Inferences.
