WELCOME TO TITLE 1 RESOURCE BES


     Ms. Jordan graduated from Lynchburg College with a bachelors degree in Elementary Education Pk-6th grade with a minor in Special Education. She also attended University of Virginia and Lynchburg College as she completed her master degree as a Reading Specialist. She is currently in her 7th year of teaching. She has taught Kindergarten, 2nd, 3rd, and 4th and 5th grade reading. She has 1 daughter, 2 grandchildren, and a sweet dog named Jojo. In her spare time is loves reading, horses, and spending quality time with her grandchildren. 

     Mrs. Offenbacker has been a teacher for 25 years. She graduated from Liberty University, holds a masters degree in Reading Literacy and a certificate from Wilson Language as a Dyslexia Specialist. In her spare time she makes stained glass windows. She loves swimming, walking, and spending time with her family.

Pizza Hut "Book It" 

It's time to ...READ!  BES is excited to announce that grades PK-5 will be participating in the Pizza Hut "Book It" program this school year.  This reading incentive program will be held for 6 months, October - March.  Please encourage and support your child's reading at home by helping him/her reach their monthly reading goal.  Each student will be praised, recognized and rewarded with a free Personal Pan Pizza as monthly goals are met.
