Mrs. Bobbie Wade

Mrs. Martha East earned a B. A. in Early Childhood Education and a M. Ed. in Curriculum and Instruction from Lynchburg College.  She taught third grade in Lynchburg City for nine years and has taught Pre-K at Altavista Elementary School since 1996.  She is married and has two sons.  Mrs. East graduated from Gretna High School.

Mrs. Dana Taylor graduated from Eastern New Mexico University with an Elementary Education B.S. degree.  Texas was her teaching home for fifteen years prior to moving to Altavista in June of 1996. She has enjoyed teaching pre-kindergarten since making Virginia her home. Watching little faces light up when something new is learned warms her heart! She is married and has one son. Her family also includes two stepchildren and four grandsons. When time allows she enjoys camping with her family, and making family scrapbooks.  She graduated from Stuttgart American High School in Stuttgart, Germany, while her father was stationed in Germany.

Ms. Cheryl Tabron has been working for Campbell County Schools for twenty-three years.  She started at the Lynch Station Kindergarten School, moved to Moseley Heights, and then joined Altavista Elementary.  She was the school nurse before becoming a Pre-K assistant.  Ms. Tabron has two daughters, one son, and two grandchildren.

Mrs. Bobbie Wade has an associates degree in Business Management. She worked at the Lane Co., Inc. for ten years. In 2003, she came to work at Altavista Elementary School and has been Mrs. East's assistant since 2006.
