Serving Advanced Learners in Cambridge School District
The Cambridge School District serves the needs of advanced learners through
striving to provide an optimal match between student needs and appropriate
programming options. 
Decisions are made based on student assessment data, performance on grade level/content standards, teacher/parent referrals, student observation, screening, and student referrals. Local norms are used to make decisions about appropriate programming options.
The Wisconsin Response to Intervention Model (RtI) provides the framework for Tier 1, Tier 2 and Tier 3 Interventions. The RtI guiding document can be found here:
