This Week in Cougar Athletics 2/1 - 2/13

The winter seasons are winding down and district tournaments are on the horizon for all three Cougar programs.

The Cougar Girls Basketball Team will begin their quest to a state tournament berth this Saturday at Caldwell High.  Caldwell (6-4 SIC) earned the #3 Seed and will host Mountain Home (0-10 SIC) this Saturday, February 5th.  Tip off will be at 7:00 pm.  The top two finishers of the district tournament will earn berths into the State Tournament, which will be at Timberline HS on February 18-20.  The third place finisher will be forced into a play in game against District I/II's second place team for the final bid.  The play in game will be played in Grangeville on Saturday, February 13th.

* During the SIC Tournament, only IHSAA and SIC passes are accepted.  ASB, Caldwell Season Passes, and CSD employee passes will not be accepted per SIC rules.
