Cougar Marching Band

The Caldwell High School Cougar Marching Band & Color Guard is one of the most visible organizations of our program, our school, and our community.  The band and guard begin the season in August with a week-long band camp held at Caldwell High School.  In this time memberes learn music and marching fundamentals and learn the music and guard work for the show.  This camp is required for all members.

The Cougar Marching Band & Color Guard rehearses during regular class time and on Monday evenings from 5:30pm to 8:30pm and Thursdays 3pm-6pm(until further notice).  Certain sections and/or lines may have additional sectional times.  Notification will be given at least 2 weeks prior in order to expect mandatory attendance that is not already on the band calendar.

The group performs at all Caldwell High School home varsity football games.  Additionally, we have our own marching band competitions, most in the Treasure Valley area (Vallivue,  Boise State University, etc.).

The band has traveled and performed throughout the West, including California, Nevada, Oregon, and Washington.
