Building a Reputation for Excellence...
One Student at a Time.
Academic achievement should not be confined to the classroom.  South Caldwell offers students the opportunity to participate in a variety of individual and team-based extra-curricular academic competitions.

Competing academically helps students to retain and integrate information from multiple subject areas while developing the ability to think critically and to solve problems as a team.

Since 2002, South Caldwell students who represent our school at two or more approved academic competitions and who have logged a minimum of 25 hours of supervised practice time have been awarded a varsity letter in academic competition.

Academic letters are presented at at the academic awards ceremony.
For more information on the academic letter program visit the link above or contact the SCHS academic competition coordinator.
