TiE Tutoring Program

Welcome to the Together in Excellence (TiE) Tutoring Program: A partnership between SCHS 

and Sawmills Elementary School. 

The tutors in the program are high school volunteers that have been through two hours of training and have signed a commitment to tutor every Tuesday afternoon through April.  Students from Sawmills Elementary School ride a bus to SCHS each Tuesday to take part in the tutoring program.  Each of them bring a tutoring folder with work sent from their teacher.  There are a total of 58 participants (tutors and students) in the program this year.  We are excited at the success of the program.
