The end of the 1st quarter is this Friday, October 19th.
Pictures retakes are this Friday for PreK - 11th along with a Senior group photo.

Mon., Oct. 15:
7:00p - JH/HS band and vocal concert followed by Fine Arts Boosters meeting. Please join us in celebrating the musical talents of your Warriors.
Tommorrow is Spirit Day. Wear your Warrior colors with pride!!

Tues., Oct. 16:
7:45am - FCCLA meeting in Ms. Bachus' room

7:00p - Regional volleyball at home - Warriors vs. Prince of Peace. Admission is $6.00 for everyone Kindergarten and older. NO passes are allowed.

Kindergarten STEM ativities

The kindergarten students explored STEM activities in the library. They enjoyed Ramps and Pathways, Code-a-Pillar, Snap Circuits, Osmo, Cubelets robot blocks, Legos, and Code & Go Robot Mouse.

Band/Vocal Concert and Fine Arts Booster meeting

On Monday, October 15th, the Cal-Wheat Fine Arts Department has their first concert of the year at 7:00 pm. 🎵🎶🎷🎺🎹🥁📯🎤

Band students are expected to be here at 6:30. Choir students need to arrive by 6:45.

Immediately after the concert we are going to have a Fine Arts Booster meeting. We need to discuss some upcoming fundraising opportunities, including the meal for the Saturday of the musical, the meal for the conference band festival, and advanced planning for choir festivals in February and the big state contest we are hosting in April. We hope you can hang around and join us for the discussion!

Cross Country Tri-Rivers Meet change in place and time

Cross Country meet update for Saturday, 10/13/18:

The Tri-Rivers Cross Country meet will now be held at Starmont High School, 3202 40th St., Arlington, IA. Meet time has been moved to 12:30pm.

Races will be ran in this order:
JV/V Girls
JV/V Boys
JH Boys and Girls

Cross Country Conference meet postponed to Sat. Oct. 13, start at 10:00am

The Cross Country Tri-Rivers Conference meet has been postponed from tomorrow (Thursday) to this Saturday, Oct. 13th with start time of 10:00am. The meet is still scheduled to be held at Woods Edge Golf Club, Woods Edge Drive, Edgewood.

Gifted and Talented Lego Robotics Project

Pictured is Lucas, Junior Gifted & Talented student. The goal for his year-long G&T project is to familiarize himself with Calamus Wheatland's new Lego Robotics kits so that he can be the leader of the junior high Robotics Club. The Lego animal pictured is a dog who does a variety of activities. Lucas downloaded the Lego program to create the coding for the dog to work.

Cafe meals for community RSVP's

Cafe is back!! Please see the flyer below for the reservation dates and the meal dates. Menus will be out shortly. Due to the storm damage that is still being fixed, the Cafe meal will be served in the Activity Center commons until the FSC room is restored.
