Mrs. Pendry

Miss Runyan is in her fourth year of teaching. She received a Bachelor Degree in Music from Olivet Nazarene University in 2014. Mrs.Pendry plays all of the band instruments, but her favorite instrument to play is the Baritone Saxophone. When she is not teaching, Mrs.Pendry likes to spend time with her family, friends, and husband, golf, and go to musical productions. She is very happy to be a part of the Carrollton Community Unit School District! 

Miss Roades

Miss Roades is in her second year of teaching. A graduate of Calhoun High School, Miss Roades went on to Lewis and Clark for a dual Associates Degree in Arts and Fine Arts - Music Education. She enrolled in the undergraduate teaching partnership program with Greenville College and LC, from which she graduated from in 2012 with a Bachelor of Science degree in Elementary Education. She was a substitute teacher for various school districts prior to being hired in 2016 by the Carrollton School District. She loves musicals, loves to sing and play the Alto Saxophone, and teaching the students about music history and theory. When she's not teaching, Miss Roades enjoys spending time with her family, especially her nephews, going to the Fox Theater and The Muny, and reading. She is very excited for the new school year to begin, and is very happy to be part of the Carrollton School District!
