Byron Students Getting Ready for College and Careers!

2015-16 MDE Updates/Assessment Info:

MCA Results 2015

The MCAs are state mandated tests in reading, mathematics and science.

The release of the 2015 Minnesota Comprehensive Assessment (MCA) results indicate that overall, the students enrolled in Byron Public Schools continue to demonstrate a high level of proficiency, meeting or exceeding grade level expectations in reading, mathematics, and science, and performing above well statewide proficiency rates.   Although we scored well above the state, we didn't get the results we were hoping for in all grade levels; our goal for 2016 is to continue our alignment work and ensure high levels of achievement at all grade levels for all students.
Check back in October for a complete Assessment Summary by grade levels.
