Congratulations to our ISEF Award Winners from BVSD!
Pittsburgh, PA, May 10-15, 2015

Elliot Gorokhovsky, Fairview, won 1st Place ($3000) in the Systems Software Category.  Elliot also won 2nd Place ($500) from the Association for Computing Machinery, the National Security Agency (NSA) Award ($3000) and Honorable Mention for the Association for the Advancement of Artificial Intelligence Award.  

A Novel Algorithm for Model Counting

Logan Collins, Fairview, won 2nd Place ($1500) in the Microbiology Category and 5th place ($500) from the American Society for Microbiology.  

An RK2 Mediated Bacterial Conjugation Delivery System for Artificial Genes Coding for Antimicrobial Polypeptides: A Novel Synthetic Biology Approach to Antibiotic Resistance

Jesse Zhang, Fairview, won 3rd Place ($1000) in the Earth and Environmental Systems Category, the NOAA Award ($500), the Society of Exploration Geophysicists Award ($500) and Honorable Mention for the American Meteorological Society Award
