Jim Davidson has been an English instructor and varsity soccer coach at Broomfield High School since 1997. He has been involved in the ninth grade LA program throughout his entire tenure in the district. Davidson's teaching passions include Shakespeare, American literature, and rhetorical analysis. He received a BA in journalism as an undergraduate and holds an MA from DePaul University in Chicago. His soccer teams have won eight state championships throughout his career, and several of his teams have been nationally ranked and recognized as team academic all-Americans. Davidson was also named the NSCAA/USC Boys' National High School Soccer Coach of the Year in 2016 and NSCAA/USC Girl's National Coach of the Year in 2021. He has received the NSCAA West Region Coach of the Year award on nine separate occasions. His wife, Kay Davidson, is a BHS chemistry teacher, technology specialist, and cross country coach. Together they enjoy living in downtown Denver with their two dogs, Dodger and Marty.
