We believe…

  • Brand new socks are the Best. Thing. Ever.
  • Running in the rain is always better than running in the wind...
  • ...but we’ll run in the wind any day if the alternative is core work in the gym...
  • ...but we understand that a strong core is vital to transfer upper body energy to our feet.
  • It is more important to know you have done your best than to have won.
  • Running is mental...
  • ...so maintaining a positive attitude, regardless of the situation, is half the battle.
  • Running clothes can be worn twice, if turned inside out.
  • Running takes commitment, consistency, dedication, hard work...
  • ...and most of all, patience.
  • Chocolate milk wins over Gatorade ANY day…except the morning of a meet (gross).
  • Running barefoot is a training tool to strengthen our feet and teach us to run like our bodies were designed to run, not a way of life, fashion statement, or convenient time-saver (those pesky laces..)
  • New faces are ALWAYS welcome on the team, and current athletes are encouraged to recruit!  Whether its your first day running, or you are a seasoned 5k road racer- you have a place on this team!!
