19th December 2015
Now added the large air tanks located on the inner end of the Power Car underframe.
As you may have guessed this will not be released over Christmas, but hopefully a long awaited latest version of a route might just be!
I hope so as I've not made any objects recently that need adding to it and slowing down it's release. lol.
8th December 2015
Sorry for the lack of posts recently but that's because commitments in the 'real world' have got in the way of my working on these trains.
Work does continue on the HST, compare this screenshot to the 8th of November one to notice what's been done recently.
16th November 2015
Well a few days making traction motors and some other bits found inside the bogies.
Or the black blobs!
Then today I started adding the detail I removed from the bogie side textures.
11th November 2015
I've just put up a revised Nuclear Flask wagon Class 57/47 that was recently released so that the maximum permitted speed is now 60 mph.
There's no changes to the configuration, so no need to replace you current copy if you can remember that 45 means 60 mph.
It's only an information change, from some new information about the permitted speed allowed.
8th November 2015
Well I've done all the air pipes and control cables between the coaches.
A bit different to a loco hauled Mk3.
What a mess!
I've also spent hours and hours making the D&M air compressor found on the underframe of the power car and have also started on the bogies.
Actually the compressor is actually one of the two I made for the Class 56's, so not that long or a matter of minutes to put roughly in the right place.
It's the same type of compressor to look at least as found on a HST power car, but the pipes and cables are different.
6th November 2015
More work on the Mk3 HST coaches mainly on the ends.
I've replaced the buckeye coupling and reconfigured the 'bufferbeams'.
Next it's add all the pipework which is rather more than you find on a Loco hauled Mk3.
4th November 2015
More detail added to the lower nose and then I had a look at the coaches making new sides for the Mk3 TRSB AND TGS coaches in the set.
I then made up a full Cross Country 2+7 set for the screenshot, a 'go faster' 2+5 Virgin Challenger is also planned..
1st November 2015
The red blob has now been replaced with Virgin red textures and the rest of the nose has been made.
So it's the adding of detail to the whole of the cab nose now.
Unless I start on the bogies or the underframe or finish the roof! LOL
29th October 2015
Back to what I've been avoiding or the front end on the HST.
I am quite happy with it at the moment, although there should be more of a curve to the lower front part of what's currently a bright red blob!
The bogie side textures have also had most of the detail removed which I plan to do as more 3D in appearance.
25th October 2015
Work continues on the HST, on the cab front, cab and main roof.
21st October 2015
More work today, recessing the cab windscreen and adding more curves too around and below the windscreen.
20th October 2015
Some more work on the HST front end/cab.
18th October 2015
Sorry about the lack of posts for the last twelve days but I've not been able to do that much in that time.
In the last few days I've finished the Cooler Group area.
So then I moved on to the front end.
6th October 2015
The last few days have been spent adding more detail to the cantrail grills and starting on the roof.
Current work is on the prominent grills over the cooling group fan.
3rd October 2015
Work continues on the HST Power Car.
