Hutton Junior Fisheries Biology Program: This is a paid summer internship program for high school students sponsored by the American Fisheries Society.  The program involves interns working full time for eight weeks during the summer with a fisheries professional.  The program is open to all current high school sophomores,juniors, and seniors. The student application period for the 2020 program is December 15, 2020 - February 16, 2021.  Students with an interest in fish management are strongly encouraged to apply.  If a student is selected for the program from either Butte High School or Mackay High School they would work with Bart Gamett out of the Forest Service office in Mackay. YCC FOREST SERVICE JOBS:The Lost River Ranger District of the Salmon-Challis National Forest will be filling 2-3 positions under the Youth Conservation Corps (YCC) program. These positions will be based out of Mackay, ID and will involve assisting the Forest Service with a variety of projects. The positions will run from June to August. Interested students may pick up an application from Jaci in the Career Center. Applications available from Jaci the first part of April.
