Arrival and Dismissal Procedures for 2017-2018

***Important Information about Drop-off times for Students:
Student drop-off will begin at 7:30am. If your student is dropped off before 7:30am, you will be charged a fee by our Valdese Before and After School Daycare.

***Information about Morning drop-offs Areas for Students:
Car Riders- Enter drop-off line on Church Street
Students may be dropped off beginning at 7:30am in the car rider line that goes by our picnic shelter.  When you pull in to our school on the Church Street side, the car rider line will need to loop to the right (in the parking lot for the Tiger Gym).  This keeps our traffic from backing up into the road.
Car Riders- Parents Need to Walk in- Enter Parking lot entrance from Church Street
If you park in the parking lot, please use the upper portion of the lot.  Please leave the lower parking spaces for our teachers and staff.  If you park in this lot, you CANNOT let your child walk into the school alone.  You MUST walk your student(s) into the school.

Please do not use the traffic circle around the playground.  There should be no traffic in the circle during drop off unless you need to use the handicap parking spaces by the gym.

Under NO circumstances can you drop your child off in our parking lot on Praley Street.  Please help us keep your student safe during morning drop-off times.
