Recently, FHS's Interact Club donated shoeboxes to Operation Christmas Child. This annual event is sponsored by Samaritan's Purse, a nondenominational evangelical Christian relief organization. The club members collected gifts, toys, art/school supplies, and hygiene items to include in the shoeboxes. They also raised money to cover shipping costs. The boxes were delivered to Chick-Fil-A in Morganton, a designated drop-off location, on Wednesday, November 18th.
