1st Period-AP English Literature:
Your final exam in this class is the formal "Advanced Placement English Literature and Composition" test. This test will be administered at 8:00 am on Wednesday, May 6th at the Foothills Higher Education Center in Morganton. Here's a link to map directions: https://goo.gl/maps/FYNcu. There is no additional teacher-made final exam for this class.
3rd Period-English 11:
We will be reviewing on June 2 and June 3 (the "CTE/Teacher Made" exam days). See the school's website for a detailed schedule; our class will meet both days. Your final exam in this class is the state-mandated "NCFE for English III". The test contains both multiple choice and short answer essay questions. We will test on Monday, June 8, in room 56, during the afternoon session. The exam will begin promptly at 12:20 pm. Please arrive on campus by 12:00 pm.
4th Period-English 10:
We will be reviewing on June 3 (the second of the "CTE/Teacher Made" exam days). See the school's website for a detailed schedule; our class will only meet on the second day, but you will still meet with your other three classes on June 2. Your final exam in this class is the state-mandated "EoC Test for English II". The test contains both multiple choice and short answer essay questions. We will test on Tuesday, June 9, in room 57, during the morning session. The exam will begin promptly at 8:00 am, and it should end at approximately 11:30 am. Lunch will be available on campus, and if you drive or can be picked up, you are welcome to leave before the afternoon session begins at 12:00 pm. The buses will not run until 3:00 pm (normal schedule), so if you cannot arrange for alternate transportation you'll be stuck in the gym until the end of the school day (bring a book to read).
