Child Welfare

Bure Park Juniors Football Club take child welfare seriously and this is reflected in our FA Charter Standard Club status which is renewed each year as required to maintain this standard.

What does that mean?

The Charter Standard Programme provides recognition that clubs are well run and sustainable, with child protection and safety paramount.

It also recognises a club's commitment to coaching, player and coach development, and the raising of standards of behaviour in the game.

The FA, in conjunction with various bodies, has drawn up a set of criteria for clubs wishing to reach Charter Standard, including FA CRB checked volunteers, all managers to have minimum of FA Level 1 Coaching Course, as well as acceptance and promotion of Codes of Conduct.

Watch the video on this page on what you should do if you have any concerns regarding the welfare of your child.
